Update your jewellery: old diamond rings

This 1.5ct diamond was set in a traditional platinum claw setting which had worn thin and the client felt was not fun to wear. They loved our rough diamond stacking rings with rough hammered silver and 18ct yellow gold shanks. the rough diamonds have a brown to champagne colour and come in interesting shapes complimented by the rough hammered texture that was applied to the three ring shanks.

This remade ring features a 0.5ct emerald cut diamond and variously sized baguette diamonds from an old engagement and eternity ring. The central 18ct yellow gold band spins inside the 10mm handmade wide hammered convex shaped ring.

This Roman inspired ring features a 1.5ct recycled diamond. A heavy planished (hammered) 18ct yellow gold shank. A rose gold and yellow gold top with a pierced heart pattern.

Trilogy rings also can be used as an engagement ring. The ring below was a redesign of a clients worn out engagement ring, pictured with it’s matching wedding ring. These platinum trilogy rings were commissioned as engagement rings. You can have the words “Past, present and future” engraved inside the ring to accentuate the symbolism of the stones.

Unique dress rings such as this selection of rough checker cut silver dress rings are available to buy from us on our website or in our Ditchling based gallery. A dress ring does not necessarily hold any meaning like an engagement ring would – they are seen as more of a fashion accessory. The style of dress ring pictured below works particularly well as a stacking ring because of the uneven shapes that fit together. Blue Topaz and Amethyst work well together because of their colouring. Citrine and Green Amethyst also work wonderfully together with their earthy coloured stones. Labradorite always looks beautiful; whether its rough cut or a polished finish.. Labradorite is a nice choice in this rough cut style of dress ring because the colours in the stone are sometimes uneven and random too.
